At Nadine Crain Counselling, my mission is to provide a supportive and safe environment for couples & individuals seeking to improve their mental well-being & relationships.

Hello, I’m Nadine. I’m a certified counsellor based in Edmonton, Alberta, who works with couples and individuals. I am trained in emotionally focused therapy (EFT) for couples and I am passionate about helping couples build or rebuild safety and trust in their relationships! I am also passionate about helping individuals heal their relationships with themselves, God and others. Regardless of the reason you are looking into counselling, I want you to know that you DESERVE to have this time to be cared for, listened to and helped. You are worth it!

The drama of love is all about this hunger for safe emotional connection, a survival imperative we experience from the cradle to the grave. Loving connection is the only safety nature ever offers us.
— Dr. Sue Johnson, Founder of Emotionally Focused Therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where individuals can feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions, so that can begin to find safety again.

I believe in the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients and therapists work together to set meaningful goals. My commitment to confidentiality and professionalism aims for every session to build trust and security, allowing for genuine exploration and healing.

I value diversity and respect the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. I am here to support you on your journey toward healthier relationships with yourself, God & others.

My goal is to provide a safe space for your story and for you to experience to be seen, heard and validated.

I provide in-person sessions, online sessions and outdoor walk and talk sessions. Contact me for a free consultation to find out more about what our work together could look like.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) draws primarily from attachment theory to facilitate the creation of a secure, vibrant connection with self and others. EFT helps clients identify and transform the negative processing and interaction patterns that create distress. It’s effective in helping issues from marital distress to individual anxiety and trauma.
